Project Overview:

A major waste-removal agency required an upgrade to its waste violation management system and the infrastructure supporting its abandoned vehicle management system. This project was initiated to enhance the efficiency, security, and functionality of these critical systems, which are integral to the agency’s operations. The violation management system handles the creation and processing of waste and parking violations, required significant updates to improve the image upload process and integrate new data transmission capabilities with other government agencies. Additionally, the infrastructure needed to be migrated from self-managed Kubernetes clusters to an OpenShift platform to enhance scalability and reliability.

The primary objectives of the project were:

System Upgrade: Improve the image upload process and ensure secure transmission of data to relevant government agencies.
Infrastructure Upgrade: Transition of the systems to a more robust and scalable OpenShift platform.

Outcomes:
